Christo’s is owned by Pete and Patty Cottone. They have been in the restaurant business for 40+ years. Pete Cottone is from Sicily, Italy and most of the recipes have been in his family for years.
We make our own dough and pizza sauce daily. We hand toss each pizza when the order comes in. We never pre make any pizza ahead of time. It’s fresh to order. We make fresh pita bread for our gyros. All of our strombolis and calzones are made to order. Our meatballs and meatsauce are homemade and made with 100% beef. We make our own meat lasagna and veggie lasagna. We make our own marinara sauce and tomato sauce(spaghetti sauce). There is a difference between the two. Marinara sauce is chunky with tomatoes and garlic and tomato sauce is smooth. Our alfredo sauce is made fresh to order. We use 100% chicken breast, hand filleted and sautéed in house for our piccata and marsala dinners. We use fresh eggplant, lightly sautéed in house for our parmigiana sub and dinner. All of our salads are made with fresh iceberg & romaine lettuce. Hand chopped daily and made to order. Our lettuce never comes precut in bags and our salads are never premade. All of our subs are toasted. We slice the meats and cheese in house. We season and bake chicken breast for our chicken phillys and we slice, season and cook ribeye beef for our philly cheesesteaks. All of our subs are 12” long. If that is too big we offer a foot long sub. There has been a debate over which one is bigger. We shall leave that up to the customer.
